About This Project:
Our various email newsletter templates for the Perseus Books Group are built around our easy-to-use, AJAX- and PHP-based newsletter editing and publishing system that allows Perseus staff to create, edit, and send HTML emails without knowing any HTML code.
Using the Web-based system, the newsletter editor enters ISBNs and watches as jacket images, book descriptions, and bibilographic data are dynamically retrieved from the database (through XHR requests running asynchronously in the background). He or she can then edit the retrieved elements using a series of simple Web-based forms and user-interface controls.
